SPAA Board Meetings: 3rd Tuesday of each month, 6:30pm at the Ports O' Call gallery
Sketch Class, Sat. June 16 , 10 AM to 2 PM ALL MEMBERS and FRIENDS: Make Fathers Day Extra Special! Come join us on the Port Boardwalk. Bring a 5 X 8 inch sketch book (Strathmore, for example) or larger, a 2HB pencil, a Sharpie pen (fine), a box of colored pencils (Crayola brand OK), a pencil sharpener, and a stool or something to sit on. We will meet at the Ports O Call gallery for a brief meeting and demo before starting off. Class fee $20.00 paid to San Pedro Art Association.
Call for Artists - San Pedro Art Association 1st Thursday Mixer
Come join your fellow members on the 1st Thursday of each month for an evening of fun and art. Starting at 6PM at the Croatian Cultural Center on the corner of 7th and Pacific Avenue in historic downtown San Pedro, you will have the opportunity to get involved in the new direction of the association.
SPAA members wanting to participate please contact the gallery or Sherri Gleason to reserve your spot.
We will have some refreshments, but you are encouraged to bring your own to share, whether it's some fabulous finger food or a bottle (or six) of a favorite libation.
(Free parking is available in the lot behind the center)
Call for Artists - Art at the Beach
You are invited to show your original artwork at Miramar Park in Torrance
Where: above the beach at 201 Paseo de la Playa
When: 1st Sundays: July 1, August 5, September 2 10AM - 4PM. Everyone must be set up by 10 AM
Fee: $35 per show (spaces can be shared). No refunds for inclement weather.
Membership is not required in any organization. Register early - spaces assigned on a first come first served basis. Space confirmed after receipt of check. Indicate what type of art you will be exhibiting and the kind of set up you will use (table, A-Frame/Sandwich board or tent). Art must be displayed off the ground.

SPAA Members: Please email your biographies to the gallery in text or MS Word form. We will be formatting them and placing them next to your work in the gallery. Even if you already have your biography in our book, we need them emailed. You may include a picture if you like. It can be of yourself or a piece of your work.

MEMBERS: Submit your business cards, artist statements, and resumes for the association binder. This binder is on public display during shows.
