ABOUT US
The San Pedro Art Association is a non-profit corporation and provides a forum for networking, information sharing, promotion, access, peer council, professional assistance, art education, opportunities and fun for the artists in the harbor area.
It was formed in 1936 by a small group of local artists to bring together creative people with similar interests within the Harbor area community, and to provide a focal point for those with such interests to work together, to learn, and to exhibit their work.
Past projects include the Harry Bridges 100th Birthday Celebration "Harbor Art Walk," South Shore Magnet Schools 2nd Annual Art Exhibit, music & dance performances, opera, acting, mini-series of film & video, bus tours to area museums, and Dia de los Muerto Exhibit.
